Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need to put equal amount of twists in both ends to shorten my string?

Printer Friendly Version

Placing equal amount of twists in each end of the string ensures that your bowstring will remain balanced without the peep rotating. Bowstrings from the Zebra factory come pre-balanced with the "ZS" technology. However, when twists are placed in one side of the string and not the other, these twists must find their way through many feet of tight serving to get to the peep location. This causes the peep to rotate until the twists balance out.
