Do Zebra bowstrings stretch?

Stretch is an inevitable consequence in many industries. Motocross professionals have problems with their chains stretching; crane operators have problems with their steel lift cables stretching. Anytime you subject a material to varying degrees of high tension for long periods of time, the material begins to stretch. In addition, this stretch is amplified by environmental conditions (hot weather, moisture, etc.). The question we really have to ask is, "What stretches less?" With this in mind, we offer different lines of bowstrings to suit different needs. For the least stretch we recommend our new Barracuda strings, which are pre-stretched under high tension. However, even our Zebra Hybrid bowstrings keep stretch to a minimum through a precision blend of Vectran and HMPE.
